Garage Band Icon Cory's Songs

I've been having some fun with an Apple music creation tool called Garage Band. Here's a few modest examples of songs I've created. I'm still learning the tool, and learning about recording in general, so each song here is a learning experience for me.

The song files are shown here as MP3 files, so they should be easily playable by every reasonably recent computer.

Song Back Story
Song#1 My very first Garage Band song. The background was created directly by Garage Band's built-in digital loops, and the live solo flute was added later. The fact that both digital and acoustic elements could be mixed quickly without cracking a manual or online help shows how powerful, yet easy-to-use Garage Band is.
Elvinish I found that CD tracks can be dropped onto Garage Band and used instantly. This is Jamie Aebersold's song "Elvinish", a piece in the style of drummer Elvin Jones. The rhythm section is from Jamie's play-along CD, with the melody and solos done on live flute and alto sax by me.
Bernie's Tune A song by Bernie Miller, with the rhythm section provided by Jamie Aebersold. I'm playing live flute and tenor sax for the melody and solos. The tenor solos have been phased and overdriven for an electric guitar effect.
Bluegrass Backbeat A quick song created completely from Garage Band loops. It took 5 or 10 minutes while I was waiting for something else to finish.
Killer Joe Benny Golson's famous tune. Rhythm section by Jamie Aebersold, with all melodies and solos played by myself on alto flute.
Christmas Time is Here Vince Guaraldi's classic song from "A Charlie Brown Christmas". I am playing all the parts here, including piano, percussion, and alto saxes. Hey, at least it was done before Christmas, if just barely!
Dindi One of Antonio Carlos Jobim's many classics. This one is still a work-in-progress, put together quickly to test out some new pickups for my flute and `ukulele. The percussion sounds are all from Garageband.
